October 2025 Update

This month I've been reminding myself, daily, that while my desire is to be on the mission field yesterday, God's perfect timing (Kairos) is always best, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the the Lord" Proverbs 3:5-6 and "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5

I've worked on patience, stillness, perseverance, obedience and being purposeful to ensure I align my actions with the will of God. We have the tendency to lean on our own understanding when we are not in control which leads to becoming anxious when we do not know what steps to take. Which then resorts to busy work that serves no purpose and often delays our Blessing.

Here's an example of how through prayer and stillness my actions aligned with my purpose. I've lived in my 3 story townhouse for 11 years. And in that time period I've accumulated a few things. While waiting for returned emails or phone calls, I packed, donated, gave away and discarded items for the move onto the mission field.

I had the opportunity to set up a table to connect with new prayer and financial partners; celebrated my birthday with my niece who treated me to a delicious vegan lunch; and had the opportunity to serve at my church's Fall Festival. The kiddos had a ball!

In closing, I ask that you join me in prayer asking God to send new prayer and financial partners. Thank you for your prayers and financial partnership. I know not everyone can go abroad to spread the gospel however through your prayers and financial partnership you are making a way for me to go, which is just as impactful. “In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel." 1 Corinthians 9:14
