April 2025 Update

April was a month of spiritual, emotional and mental growth and maturity. There were a few instances where the only way through the situation I found myself in was by total and complete dependence on God. “I” wanted to ask for human intervention or insight before taking it to the Lord in prayer. But in those moments the Holy Spirit reminded me . . . my help cometh from the Lord.  After prayer, reading the word and patiently waiting for an answer, the Lord was . . . a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path guiding me in the direction I should go.

On March 27th, I had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion for young adults to share my journey of moving into full-time mission’s ministry. I loved having the opportunity to share my testimony and answer questions that prayerfully planted seeds or watered the harvest of young adults who are interested in missions; or young adults who are not called to full-time mission’s ministry but understood, from the panel discussion, that whatever gifting the Lord has given you, is your calling and you should go into the world and share the gospel utilizing your unique gifting. No one else’s gift is exactly like yours.

From April 28th – 30th I attended the Assemblies of God, PennDel (Pennsylvania/Delaware) District Summit 2025. I was blessed to have a table alongside of other missionaries to share my heart, ministry, prayer card, and flyer about INSPIRE Project along with a few goodies to sell. I made connections with so many incredible missionaries, Pastors and their wives, district staff along with a whole host of wonderful Christians who were in attendance. Pray with me that those connections turn into partnerships.

As I close out my Blog for this month. The Holy Spirit reminded me, “He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field (Luke 10:2).” I am one of the workers sent into His harvest field. “In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.” 1 Corinthians 9:14 NIV.

In closing, I ask that you join me in prayer to close out May having raised 25% of my budget. Thank you for your payer and financial partnership. “I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.” Philippians 4:18 NIV
